METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION
.................................

1. Description of the methods for collection/generation of data:

- "Trial 1" sheet: Commercial seedlings of lettuce variety Savatar L243 Romana Larga were purchased and grown for 40 days until bud formation. They were arranged in 2 NFT hydroponic systems (6 units per system) with 20 holes per channel, of which 20 were used, without leaving any hole between each plant, with a water flow rate of 1.5L/min. Each system was connected to a tank with fish which were fed with 2 doses of feed per day:
*System 1= 150 gr of feed/day.
*System 2= 75 g of feed/day.
In each system, 3 carcasses were used, which were called Control (negative control), to which water was foliar applied every 10 days of culture and 3 carcasses, which were called Micronutrients (positive control), to which water was applied with agricultural commercial micronutrients at a rate of 2 g/L + 5 ml of agricultural molasses every 10 days of culture.
At the end of the 40 days, all the fresh whole plants were weighed, as well as the roots of 10 plants of each treatment (control and micronutrients), of which 3 stems and 3 roots were placed in an oven at 80 degrees Celsius for 48 hours to calculate the dry weight.

- "Trial 2" sheet: Commercial seedlings of lettuce variety Savatar L243 Romana Larga were purchased and grown for 40 days until bud formation. They were arranged in 2 NFT type hydroponic systems (6 units per system) with 20 holes per channel; 10 of which were used, leaving 1 hole between each plant, with a water flow rate of 1.5L/min.

- "Trial 3" sheet: Commercial seedlings of Lettuce Variety Savatar L243 Romana Larga were purchased and grown for 40 days until bud formation. They were arranged in 2 NFT hydroponic systems (6 units per system) with 20 holes per channel, of which 20 were used, without leaving any hole between each plant, with a water flow rate of 1.5L/min. Each system was connected to a tank with fish which were fed with 1 dose of feed per day:
*System 1= 150 g of feed/day.
*System 2= 150 g feed/day.
Three randomly distributed carcasses were used for each treatment, which were:
*Control (negative control) with water
*Micronutrients (positive control) with agricultural commercial micronutrients at a rate of 2 g/L + 5 ml of agricultural molasses.
*Rugulopteryx okamurae boiled, diluted to 50%.
*Rugulopteryx okamurae boiled, undiluted (100 %)
*Rugulopteryx okamurae macerated 24 hours, undiluted (100%)
For the Rugulopteryx okamurae preparations, 100g of ruguloteryx were thawed and the excess water was pressed out, the ‘boiled’ preparations were placed in a 2L flask with 1L of distilled water and placed in a thermostatic bath at 100 degrees Celsius for 1 hour boiling time. At the end of the hour, they were allowed to cool at room temperature to 35 degrees Celsius, filtered and pressed to extract as much liquid as possible. This extract was called ‘Rugulopteryx okamurae boiled, undiluted (100%)’. To prepare the macerate, 100g of rugulopteryx were thawed and the excess water was extracted by pressing, this material was placed in 1L of distilled water and left to stand for 24 hours at a temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, stirring every hour, for 6 hours. After 24 hours, the remaining matter was filtered and pressed to extract as much liquid as possible. This extract was called ‘Rugulopteryx okamurae macerated 24 hours, undiluted (100%)’.
At the end of the 40 days, all fresh whole plants were weighed, as well as the roots of 10 plants from each treatment, of which 3 stems and 3 roots were placed in an oven at 80 degrees Celsius for 48 hours to calculate the dry weight.
